I’m told Lewis — racing in the European Grand Prix in Valencia, Spain, today — is now virtually joined at the hip with gorgeous Nicole. A source on the circuit says: “Lewis and Nicole are getting pretty serious. They’re almost living in each other’s pockets as it is, but we’re hearing that they may be about to buy a place together. “It would only be a part-time base because Lewis is based in Switzerland.” London will be a handy place to meet up in between Nicole’s American home and Lewis’s Swiss tax haven.

The source added: “The fact they are planning to get a place shows how serious they’ve become.” Lewis, 23, keeps popping up at Pussycat Dolls promotional events all over the world. He had his luggage nicked the other week from outside the Spanish hotel where he was staying with Nicole, 29. “It’s surprising to get your luggage nicked from a place like that,” said my source. “But what’s not a surprise is that Lewis was there with Nicole. Wherever she is you’ll find him. They’re like each other’s shadows. The week before that they were in Hollywood together.”
